SpaceX Might Be Close To Another Falcon 9 Launch
SpaceX might be close to another Falcon 9 launch after a local Florida resident, Andrew Stoltz, captured a video that showed a new Falcon 9 fairing on the last leg of its journey to Cape Canaveral. You can view the video here https://bit.ly/2kuF0WA
SpaceX has not completed any orbital launch since August 7th, when it took the AMOS-17 communications satellite into a geostationary transfer orbit(GTO) on the Falcon 9. This is the longest period that SpaceX has taken without launching a rocket into orbital Space since 2015 and 2016 when a string of failed launches grounded the company.
It is assumed that the payload pairing will support one of the three upcoming launches. The next launch that SpaceX had planned was a Starlink Mission planned for not earlier than October before the company settled for towards the end of the month.
According to NASAspaceflight.com, the next Starlink launch, the Starlink -1 NET, was planned for October 17th, the Starlink -2 NET for November 4th and the Starlink -3 NET for late November.
SpaceX plans to launch up to 24 Starlink launches on top of its launches for paying customers in 2020. This would break SpaceX’s annual record of 21 launches.
